Urban Italian Group (UIG), the company behind beloved brands like Basta and Florentine, is expanding and looking for a Recruiter to join our HR team and help shape the future of our HR-strategy.
About Us
Urban Italian Group is the creative force behind the highly popular Basta casual dining concept and the fine casual Florentine brand. With 11 restaurants across Sweden and Spain, we are known for our innovative approach to Italian cuisine, offering great value, broad appeal, and vibrant dining experiences.
We take pride in our diverse team of 400 professionals, representing 53 nationalities and serving our more than 3000 guests daily with an authentic Italian hospitality.
Urban Italian Group is continuously expanding, with exciting plans to launch new restaurants and concepts both in Sweden and internationally in the near future.

Your Role
As UIG expands from 400 to 600 employees, we are seeking a modern and forward-thinking Recruiter who can take our recruitment and talent search to the next level.
This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with our local management teams across Sweden and Spain, ensuring sustainable growth by attracting top talent, fostering a strong candidate journey and developing our relationships with hospitality schools.
Finding and attracting the right talent is a key priority for UIG and we are already actively building a brand based on values, excellence, and teamwork. We are looking for someone who can proactively lead our employer branding efforts and positioning UIG as a top employer in the hospitality industry.
This role is based at our HQ in Central Stockholm but will occasionally require travel to both our restaurants and recruitment fairs across Europe. Our corporate language is English.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans to attract top talent.
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing to hiring.
- Take ownership of the full candidate experience.
- Implement initiatives and standards to key positions and leaders in the company.
- Ensure an efficient and structured onboarding process for all new hires.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for high-volume and seasonal hiring needs.
- Collaborate with restaurant managers to forecast staffing needs and adjust recruitment plans accordingly.
- Analyse recruitment data and metrics to continuously optimise sourcing channels and conversation rates.
Employer Branding:
- Strengthen UIG’s employer brand to position the company as a leading employer in hospitality.
- Coordinate participation in hospitality career fairs, student events and partnership initiatives.
- Act as an ambassador for UIG's values and culture in external communications
People Analytics & Compliance:
- Track and report on recruitment KPI's such as time-to-hire, source effectiveness and onboarding success rate.
- Ensure recruitment practices are aligned with Swedish labor law and collective bargain agreement.
- Maintain structured documentation in the ATS and ensure GDPR compliance throughout the process.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role as Recruiter, Talent Acquisition or similar, preferably in a fast-paced, service-oriented industry.
- Experienced within administrating an ATS, preferably TeamTailor.
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to build a talent pool for future needs.
Ability to lead multiple recruitment projects simultaneously. - Experience in the hospitality industry or in high-volume recruitment is highly valued.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to meet and interview candidates on all levels.
- Fluency in English; Swedish is a plus.
